30x22 mixed watermedia entitled "Rush Hour". This next week am going to paint in Lamesa, TX (where I was born during a sandstorm) and we'll be doing abstracts. Lots of fun but nobody around this area except my mother likes them nor wants to own them. As has been stated before on this blog, I've been taking some of them and making other art, using them as underpaintings.

I don't know about there Kay, but here they'd love it! I do!!
I love abstracts (this one is wonderful), but I know what you mean. There is a much larger market for representational art.
Art is so very subjective, its never easy to please all and we never will.
Abstraction has the appeal of strong colour and form to it for me and this one works.
beautiful abstract...the colors are just beautiful..!
while I"m not suggesting you do this to your lovely paintings, you can turn them over, paint something else on the other side and then cut them into really great bookmarks.
I love the colors you used here.
Thanks everybody!
