Ruidoso Road

11x15 watercolor on 140 lb Kilimanjaro paper, American Journey paints from my photo taken in March up on Sierra Blanca. I added the warm colored bushes here that were not there for added interest. This road seemed to be going off the mountain side into nowhere.

Hi Kay,
Your painting is so nice and your exploration of colours in this composition works. I enjoy painting and come have a visit at my site.
Bye,
Richardson.

I love this one, too. Those snow ruts really draw me in to the painting, and I actually feel the cold.

Love the painting! Looks like you used some of Frank's techniques here.
