Free Fall flower

3.5x2 alcohol inks on paper done this afternoon using Cloudy Blue and Eggplant colors with Lettuce as the green stem.  In this miniature floral abstract the viewer can see colors moving upwards and separating near its top.  Actual size is posted below.

Blushing Blue Hydrangeas ~ It's World Watercolor Month!

It is World Watercolor Month each July 1st and I want to celebrate by painting a wet-in-wet, brush only piece.  Since my own hydrangeas were eaten by deer and never got a chance to bloom this May, creating an artwork will have to do.  Size is 2.5x3.5 on Canson 140 lb cold press paper done this afternoon.  Actual art card (ACEO) size is below.
