Margaritas

12x9 watercolor (brush only) painted yesterday as a still life complete with limes and kosher salt on Canson 140 lb cold press paper. This imaginary scene could be any table top or bar anywhere. It was fun to paint the salt crystals and the lime in this still life. COPYRIGHT 2020 Kay Smith

Celebrate!

10.25 x 4.25 watercolor on Canson 140 lb cold press paper, another in my New Year celebration series.  The thin ribbons are leftover Christmas trim and bottle of bubbly is long gone. For this one, I did use masking fluid.  I may have to buy a bottle of something as my birthday is coming up in January.

Happy New Year! Party Hearty!

15x11 watercolor on Arches 140 lb cold press paper finished today.  I've titled this one "Splendor in the Glass".
New specialty drinks for those wanting to imbibe, the red one is a cinnamon whiskey with lime.  I think I'll have iced tea, though, and stay at home.  I want to wish all of my followers and friends a very happy new year!
