3.5x5 watercolor and ink line (Micron 03 pen) on Canson 140 lb cold press paper, an imaginary old wild western town building scene. I enjoy painting dilapidated wooden boards and fences of a bygone era.

Frontier Couple sketch
7.5 x 8.5 ink and pencil sketch on white index paper of another artist's parents dressed in period western costumes. This double portrait is featured on Southwestern/Western forum's Quick Draw Challenge on WetCanvas! website. Total time: 18 minutes. (Just edited the version as I posted earlier as I'd omitted his moustache)

Downtown Dust Storm
15x22 gouache on Arches 140 lb rough paper, Winsor Newton Designer paints. Buildings are in downtown Kerrville, Fredericksburg, and Big Spring, TX. This composite was fun to do. A lone cowboy walks towards old, closed down stores and banks while the sand swirls about him. Where is he going and what is he looking for? A woman? A saloon?
