Wild Red Bloom
4x6 mixed media (watercolor, acrylics, and white gel pen) on 140 lb Grumbacher cold press paper done last week in my postcard series. Part of this one had been a watercolor exercise as seen at the top. I added acrylic thin washes then the flower shape with gel pen when dry.

Red Mum
22x30 watercolor of a single bright red chrysanthemum, an older work that has been sold. In this large format the common mum takes on an added importance. In another month or so we'll be seeing them arrive for fall.
