Working Cowgirl
14x11 mixed media on Strathmore toned tan paper using acrylic ink, markers, acrylics, watercolor with ink being applied with natural plant stick from Spanish broom tree. I first rolled white acrylic over the tan paper at random then did initial pencil sketch. A white gel pen used for highlights. Ref courtesy WetCanvas.

Western Style
11x5 watercolor on mixed media 140 lb paper sketched in pencil then painted yesterday. With this imaginary female figure I've added a horizontal background of distant rocky mountain ranges.

Cowgirl Colors
22x30 acrylic and wax crayon on 140 lb cold press Saunders paper of the back of a cowgirl flanked by cactus. In this abstract contemporary scene I drew a contrast between the toughness of the female figure and the thorns of the plants.
