Beach Appaloosa
9x5.75 watercolor on Canson 140 lb cold press over graphite sketch done today, an appaloosa horse running in the beach water. This imaginary scene is for the first day of summer beginning tomorrow.

Free Spirits Horses
9x12 watercolor on Canson 140 lb cold press paper done last weekend from one of my photos of these horse sculptures by Dave McGary. This installation can be seen at the entrance to the horse museum, Ruidoso Downs, NM. Paints and appaloosas are featured in this grouping of galloping horses which are larger than life.

Appaloosa
9.5x7 mixed media on dictionary page collaged onto wc paper. I sketched the appaloosa in pencil then used Brusho wc crystals, watercolor, white gel pen, black India ink, white gouache for this handsome horse.
