Onions and Garlic
9x12 watercolor on Canson 140 lb cold press paper sketched yesterday in
under 10 minutes then painted in 45 minutes for this interesting still
life. Love to cook with both these vegetables so was a thrill to paint
them together. This was featured on this weekend's drawing event on WetCanvas.

Pickled
8.5x5.5 watercolor over ink line drawing using Pigma Micron 01 pen on Master's Touch sketchbook paper drawn yesterday and painted today. Inspired by local canning products I can use this pickle jar to hope our Howard County Fair is a good one this fall. Carrots, red bell pepper and garlic cloves dot the bottom part of this simple still life of vegetables.

Windowsill Veggies
15x22 watercolor on 140 lb cold press paper, painted wet in wet a few years ago, a still life of bell peppers, tomatoes, garlic and potted herbs in a sunny windowsill. I painted this again as a demo for east Texas painters and that one has a red bell in front. Some negative work was done on the plant leaves. This piece is SOLD.
