Trees and Clouds

11x15 watercolor on Yupo synthetic paper done from one of the landscape photos I posted online for a contest. In this mountain scene, I especially liked the whispering pines behind the taller foreground bare trees. The viewer can imagine tall vistas behind the trees.

House Down the Street

9x12 watercolor using brush only of a southwestern style house down the street in New Mexico.  With its red tile roof and surround pines, spruce and evergreen trees, it is very attractive.  This house portrait shows its white stucco well against the surrounding landscape.
