December Egret
6x9 watercolor and Cretacolor dark green pencil on 140 lb cold press Grumbacher paper, using some of my egret Florida references. This one was flying low over the water in the bay hoping to see some dinner.

Raptor Above Snow
7.25x4.5 watercolor on Canson 140 lb cold press paper completed today for an online challenge. Participants have 2 hours to select a photo then paint it. This one was finished in about 30 minutes. Ref courtesty Susan (tyree) on WetCanvas. Just a hint of blue snow shadows below the raptor hawk bird who is out looking for his next meal.

Gull Post
12x9 watercolor on Canson 140 lb cold press paper done yesterday from multiple seagull photos. This is a combination of two where a smaller bird was perched on a pier post and the other is coming in for a landing.
