Roadside Truck

9x12 watercolor on Canson 140 lb cold press paper sketched and painted last weekend.
This very old truck was parked by the roadside for years and is now gone. Rust had begun the decaying and aging process of the old metal finish. Daniel Smith paints used.

Old Red Truck

5.5x8 ink/watercolor on Strathmore Visual Journal for watercolor sketched last night then painted today, about 2 hours. Using my Lamy Safari pen filled with grey Noodler's ink, drawing the old truck was fun.  Featured on this weekend's drawing event on WetCanvas, participants have 2 hours to select a photo and paint it then post.  This old red wrecked truck was in a town called Forget, a village in the province of Saskatchewan in Canada, according to Bonnie, the current host.

Old Texas Vehicle

5.5x8 watercolor and ink on Strathmore Visual Journal for watercolor sketched yesterday and painted today.  I used Micron 01 pen in this 50s era vehicle from an old photo the year my parents married.  Fallen leaves scatter across the road with white picket fence in the distance in this rural scene.  There was another digit in the license plate that I left off.
