Barn Bucket
6x6 watercolor using White Nights paints done first part of this month, an imaginary scene focusing on old wooden and metal textures that one might see around an old farm. This is on 80 lb sketchbook paper and was a trip down memory lane.

Behind the Barn
5.5x8.5 watercolor using White Nights paints done last week using no reference, a glimpse into farm life behind the barn. Probably everyone's barn had a corner where fence meets the building. In this scene, I have weeds growing tall, while fields can be seen in the distance.

Barn Milkcans
15x11 watercolor on Strathmore 140 lb cold press block done over the past weekend; ref courtesy WetCanvas in the Southwest/Western forum challenge. I liked the rusty texture on the old milk cans and the rugged wooden fence behind reminding us of days gone by and milking cows in this farm still life.
