Smooth Sailing
6x9 watercolor on 140 lb cold press Canson paper done today; ref courtesy Wendy Manning/WetCanvas weekend drawing event. I enjoyed the view from the bow of the sailboat as well as the beautiful wood of the deck, etc.

Set Sail in September

Sail Away ~ Happy 4th of July!
6x6 watercolor done today, a quick study of sailboats with their patriotic red, white, and blue colors. This was painted in Masters Touch 80 lb sketchbook and I used an old credit card to make the vertical rigging lines on the boats.
