High Noon Donkey
15x11 watercolor on Canson 140 lb cold press paper done in January on a cold day. I've used one of my donkey frontal compositions and placed some imaginary saguaro cactus in hot desert dirt or sand for an unusual background.

Donkey in the Desert
12x9 watercolor on 140 lb cold press paper done about third week in December. I had painted the donkey then wanted an interesting background so added saguaro cactus and old faded barnwood boards. Daniel Smith paints were used.
