Snowy Aspens
6x4 watercolor using White NIghts paints on 80 lb paper in Joggles sketchbook done last week from a photo I took in Ruidoso a few years ago. These aspens are close to the Texas Club restaurant and were covered in deep snow. I used this photo as a lesson on how to paint white subjects for our Monday class.

February Aspens
9x6 watercolor on Grumbacher 140 lb cold press paper sketched yesterday then finished today. This mountain winter landscape of aspens was prompted by some I saw last week in New Mexico and the other elements are from imagination. I've really pushed color with this tree scene.
