15x11 mixed media India ink, white gel pen, and Derivan Matisse acrylic background color, a demo done in my Faces class yesterday. This unknown man had tangled, graying hair and a flowing white beard and was wearing a hodgepodge of clothing. Several different vintage papers were adhered to Canson 140 lb cold press watercolor paper and let dry before sketching with ink dropper tip. Water was added when ink still wet to obtain midtone grays.
