Theater Night

Ref courtesy Unsplash which did not identify the image but it appears to be the Orpheum Theater in downtown Minneapolis, MN. I loved the night scene with its partly darkened buildings and bright light from the theater. A man seems to be on his way there. Twilight in the City

15x11 watercolor and gouache on Fabriano 140 lb rough paper done a few days ago of an imaginary city street at twilight. I first painted it in watercolor and was not reading right so put mostly white, peach, blue and pale yellow gouache washes over it. Highlights are the street lights glow and reflections.
