Blue Waterlilies #InkTober
5.5x8.5 watercolor and ink line using Micron 01 pen on Masters sketchbook done last week for day 2 of #InkTober. The prompt for that day was Tranquil, so I thought these waterlilies fit the bill.

Monet Magic
30x22 acrylic, watercolor and wax crayon on 140 lb cold press paper, a reworked older one that was not working in my opinion. I spent all one weekend afternoon overhauling this one darkening the pond water, glazing over the top portion to push the middle and foreground lilypads forward for more focus.

Party Pods
15x22 watercolor on Fabriano 140 lb rough paper and Daniel Smith paints done today using only a black & white photo. So all color is made up, following the values present in the photo copy. One lone lotus blossom rises amongst the partiers who sing and dance above a sea of lilypads.
