Shoppers

15x22 gouache on hot press paper 140 lb, an exercise in painting female figures with all their heads on the same plane.  This was using only one model so I've made them all different as far as dress and hairstyles.

Sexpots and Sirens

7x10 gouache and ink (Pigma Micron 01 and Sharpie felt tip) on Canson mixed media paper drawn and painted this afternoon, the second in my new women series.  On the left we have the brunettes and blondes on the right for a total of 5 femme fatales.  I did not intend to separate them.  I like the Latina lower bottom left as she is the prettiest.  The blonde in blue short jumpsuit is a sexpot for sure.  Total fun!

Girls Just Wanna Have Fun

5.75 x 8.5 gouache and ink (Pigma 01 and medium fine tip Sharpie pens) on Color Sketch buff colored paper done today.  An imaginary group of hussies and floozies decorate the fun composition, just a mishmash of mamas getting ready to party.

Geisha Dolls

15x22 gouache on hot press Lanaquarelle 140 lb, drawn yesterday in watercolor colored pencil and painted today.  I also dropped in several places watersoluble oil pastel.  These dolls were a part of an Asian display at a very large antique store and I got remarkable photos from which to paint.
