Working Cowgirl

14x11 mixed media on Strathmore toned tan paper using acrylic ink, markers, acrylics, watercolor with ink being applied with natural plant stick from Spanish broom tree. Cowgirl Colors

22x30 acrylic and wax crayon on 140 lb cold press Saunders paper of the back of a cowgirl flanked by cactus.  In this abstract contemporary scene I drew a contrast between the toughness of the female figure and the thorns of the plants.
