Percolator

8.5x5.5 watercolor and ink (Pigma Micron 01 pen) on Masters sketchbook paper done yesterday.  Getting perked up to start the annual InkTober challenge starting Saturday, 1 October, in which participants pledge to use ink in their art daily.  Not a problem here, using ink or working on a daily piece is a habit now.  Love my stainless steel percolator going at it and the smell of fresh coffee.

Coffee and Donuts

11x15 gouache watermedia on 140 lb Saunders cold press paper, painted very rapidly and in a loose direct manner. The powdered sugar donuts are just waiting to be dunked.
