May Tulip

11x5 alcohol inks on white freezer/deli paper (shiny side) done a few days ago in May, an imaginary tulip yellow and red.  Stem and leaves were made with the tip of a wooden chopstick with a drop of green then black, allowed to dry, then put a drop of 91% alcohol before drawing.

Daffodil Lineup

4.25x7.75 India inks on 300 lb cold press wc paper, another in my experimentation with ink series. With this simple spring scene, I sketched the daffies first in pencil.
