Feline Groovy
12x9 watercolor on Strathmore 140 lb cold press paper, Daniel Smith paints. After doing a loose splashy underpainting I let the soft pastel hues dry, then drew over that an outline of my grey tabby Chuy. May he RIP. The abstract underpainting can be seen within the cat's body while in front he nestles against colorful patterned pillows.

Tabby Cat Profile
8.5x5.5 watercolor on Masters sketchbook paper done today after sketching yesterday in graphite. This was a 2 hour timed challenge on WetCanvas with numerous images offered and mine was well within the limit at not quite an hour. I liked the gaze of this sweet tabby cat.

Yarn's for Kittens
6x6 watercolor with Pigma Micron 01 pen on Masters paper, drawn last night and painted this afternoon from old black and white photo of Roger, an orange tabby with white markings. I rescued him and loved him so much but he was so friendly he disappeared, probably into someone's house or car.
