Pocket Park Lamps
12x9 watercolor, Brusho, and white crayon on 140 lb cold press Grumbacher paper painted last Wednesday. Using my recent photo of a rainy day at the pocket park downtown Big Spring I adapted the setting to a snowy day.

Downtown
9x6.25 watercolor pencil sketch with watercolor done over the weekend on Lanaquarelle 140 lb hot press paper. The photo from downtown somewhere had to be finished in 2 hour time limit so my painting time was one hour, 10 minutes. I liked the cute couple holding hands wearing their green and red complementary colors while a guy seated on the right past the hotel sign was watching them stroll along.

Virginia Village Lamps
12x9 watercolor on Fluid 140 lb cold press paper drawn yesterday and painted today using Daniel Smith and American Journey pigments. This is a cropped reference of a townscape that is shown here from current weekend drawing event on WetCanvas with Li Newton hosting. Since I love lamp posts and lanterns this view favors them as a focal point. A #14 round brush was used also.
