Seaside Shells

6 1/8 x 6 3/4 watercolor on a scrap of Saunders 140 lb CP that had pale yellow, blue, and pink wash underpainting. I drew imaginary shells and water then when dry splattered white and raw sienna mix to resemble seafoam and water on the beach. These small seaside themed still lifes are fun to paint. Daisy Jar

8.25x5.25 mixed media in junk journal done yesterday using combed acrylic paint over the old 1950s book page, then yellow watercolor. When dry, I stamped a jar using black India ink, then sketched daisies with STA Lictin 0.3 pen. Sea Sand Summer

11x4 mixed media on 140 lb cold press paper done today, the first day of August, a day I like to think of water, lakes, ocean, the sand and enjoy the rest of summer.
