Rock Arizona
2.5x4 acrylics hand painted Arizona cactus landscape on a rock done last month. I enjoy doing these 3D rock scenes and subjects and they make an unusual canvas.

Hummingbird on a Rock
2.5x4.25 acrylics on a smooth river rock, done last month in my new painted rocks series. With a gray background, this hummingbird's head shines brightly for the cooler weather season.

Hollyhock Fence ~ painted rock
2.5x3 acrylics painted on a smooth rock done in July as part of an online landscape challenge. The rock was painted with gesso before sketching was done to provide a smooth surface. This miniature hollyhock garden is blooming for sure.
