Friday Poppy

6x3 watercolor on 140 lb cold press paper done last Friday as part of an online WetCanvas weekend drawing event challenge. I cropped all extraneous parts of a garden to focus upon the vivid blood red poppy and let excess paint drip down in a free fall. COPYRIGHT 2023 Kay Smith
