6.5x13 alcohol inks on white freezer paper completed today. What started out Sunday afternoon as a seascape ended up a garden scene of red poppies which I like much better.

Sherbet Tulip
11x7 alcohol inks on Yupo synthetic paper done this past weekend using only two warm colors plus greens. I used canned air to blow ink away from the flower's base upwards.

Indigo Inspiration
9x12 alcohol inks on Yupo done today, an imaginary flower of many layers and mysteries. I love the abstract quality of this contemporary bloom and all its tiny worlds hidden within.

Windblown Petals
7x5 alcohol inks on Yupo synthetic paper by Tim Holtz done today. Two reds were used, a light hue and a darker one. For the stem, grasses and leaves, one green and one yellow and were applied using a wooden chopstick (put a drop of ink at the tip then draw with it). No pencil or reference was used so with your imagination think what this one is. A parrot tulip? A poppy? A red weed?
