Locked and Loaded Cowboy

15x11 watercolor on Canson 140 lb CP done week before last, another in my western series. This is from a movie still of Clint Eastwood and was a pleasure to paint his rugged and tough face. A long time fan I might paint more of his action clips. COPYRIGHT Kay Smith 2026

Quiet Cowboy

8.5x5.5 watercolor using White Nights paints on Canson 117 lb cold press paper done last few days of August while on a trip. For now, this cowboy is the last imaginary portrait I will be doing. This guy looks so quiet and contemplating his next job or duty while working hard outdoors. COPYRIGHT Kay Smith 2026
