Studio

5x7.5 watercolor of my south studio wall bathed in sunlight that is caressing the roses and casting shadows.  Shutters are now painted green and window trim is pink.  This miniature is painted on 140 lb cold press Saunders paper.

Porch Detail

15x5 watercolor on Saunders 140 lb cold press paper done today.  This view is a detail from a larger piece showing more of the building.  It is the porch of a local realty.  Of course I used artistic license on the flowers showing more lush blooms that what is there.

Spring Flowers with Watercan

The title of this new one done this weekend is "Spring has Sprung", an imaginary floral garden watercolor complete with old metal watering can sprinkling an array of daffodils, poppies, bluebonnets, larkspur, daisies, etc.  Its size is 15x22 and painted on Arches 140 lb cold press paper using Daniel Smith paints in a wet on dry manner.
