Gull Landing
9x7 watercolor in Masters Touch sketchbook 80 lb paper, done over the past weekend for another WetCanvas Weekend Drawing Event. Ref courtesy Rousay. Participants have 2 hours to select their choice image to paint and this one was done close to an hour. The ref had him landing on grass so I've changed it to water and sky.

Bright Sun
7x9 watercolor on Masters Touch 80 lb paper in sketchbook done last week as part of a WetCanvas challenge I set up. Participants were given the prompt 'sun' and had to fit it into a landscape, skyscape, marine scape, etc. In my imaginary scene I used a cut circle from masking tape to adhere to the paper then painted around that, as I don't use frisket/miskit or any masking fluid.

Beach Bottle
8x8 watercolor on Italia Magnani 140 lb cold press paper done over the weekend of a green bottle on the beach (ref courtesy WetCanvas RIL). I enjoyed the cloudy skies and the light passing through all of it to the sand and water causing a reflection. White Nights paints were used.

Little Landscape
4x6 alcohol inks on professional photo paper done a few days ago. I had worked on the reverse glossy side and did not like it so flipped it over and used non-slick back. The resulting shapes and sky resembled a landscape so I added horizontal colors of brown, green, and gold until this unfolded.
