Spring Petals
12x9 acrylics on Canson 140 lb cold press paper completed yesterday after first making eucalyptus leaves and palm leaves, strokes which were part of a tutorial. The imaginary flowers popped into the composition. Spring is one week from today!

Bouquet in Black Vase
8x8 mixed media on paper done today over previous alcohol inks using pink, blue, and yellow making an abstract. I used a 1" flat sponge brush to create flowers with acrylics. Most of the fuchsia pink is what is left of the inks.

Bouquet in Plum Vase
6x4 mixed media on paper done last week over a failed alcohol ink abstract. Using only a 1" flat foam brush I painted acrylic flowers inside a plum colored vase and when dry used white gel pen for added calligraphy. Roses and tulips along with imaginary blooms make up this bouquet.
