Working Cowboy
22x15 watercolor on 140 lb hot press Stonehenge Aqua done in July, using movie still featuring K.Costner on horseback in Yellowstone. In this depiction I've tried to show the working side of managing a ranch. This work is one of the Caboose WC show at Heritage museum show "Way out West".

Cunning Coyote
24x18 acrylics over a watercolor portrait of a woman named Carol. It was sketched then filled in but leaving her patterned scarf for the coyote's right ear and fur. To successfully rework a painting takes lots of imagination and determination. To see this art, visit Heritage museum, 510 Scurry in Big Spring, TX now thru 29 October 2022. "A Brush with Creativity" features several Caboose Watercolor members and their new creations from old works.

SophistoKitty
12x9 watercolor on Canson 140 lb cold press paper finished yesterday, one I'd been working on since Monday. This kitten is imaginary. I had painted an adult cat with identical markings and it has sold at Howard College at our Caboose show. The title of it was SophistoCat. Naturally I wanted to paint another mostly white kitty with black markings as those two neutrals are spot on for watercolor.
