Cigarette Cowboy

10x8 watercolor using White Nights paints on Canson 117 lb cold press paper. Done the last week of August while on a trip, I used a movie still of Lee Van Cleef. This doesn't resemble him much but it was a challenge to his face and hat. Usually he played an outlaw and I was mesmerized by his eyes. COPYRIGHT Kay Smith 2026

Working Cowboy

22x15 watercolor on 140 lb hot press Stonehenge Aqua done in July, using movie still featuring K.Costner on horseback in Yellowstone.
