Texas Horse Farm
6x6 watercolor on paper done today, a quick colored pencil sketch in Master's 80 lb/Daniel Smith paints. From two different refs, I created an imaginary Texas horse farm. The viewer has to imagine there are other horses around maybe in the pasture or other side of the red barn.

Barn Sunset
7x9 watercolor on Masters Touch 80 lb paper done last week or so ago from one of my many barn reference photos. Here the sun is slowly going down on the country farm landscape and its light can be seen through the open spaces in the barn's frame.

Backcountry Barn
12x9 watercolor on Fluid 140 lb cold press paper sketched this morning then painted this afternoon, an imaginary country scene of a rundown old barn. The rocky landscape foreground was fun to paint wet in wet in layers as was the middle ground. The fence is still up so suppose someone is running cattle. Storm clouds are building up overhead. When dry, splattering was done for texture.

Red Barn, Stormy Skies
6x12 watercolor painted today on Strathmore 140 lb cold press paper. After painting the rusted vintage truck yesterday I was still in a country frame of mind I suppose as I went through many of my barn photos searching for one not yet attempted.
