Glad About It
6x8 watercolor using White Nights paints on Fluid 100, 140 lb hot press paper, another white gladiolus bloom. This was a short demo done for new students in Alto, NM, who were eager to learn how to do direct painting wet on dry with darks first.

So Glad
8x8 watercolor floral on Masters Touch painted in February as part of class exercises with gladioli or gladiolus blooms. This one was an imaginary white flower I have added Sennelier colors to beginning with darks first. Also I used Daniel Smith's Moonglow.

White Gladioli or Gladiolus
6x8 watercolor on Fluid 140 lb hot press paper done recently, a single glad bloom commonly called sword lily. Painted wet on dry the hot press paper readily gave good results of this simple white flower using Daniel Smith and American Journey paints. No ref photo used.
