Merry Christmas Cardinal

6x4 watercolor on 140 lb cold press paper done at first of December, a cheery male cardinal from my many bird photos. This painting was a gift today at the Big Spring Art Association party hosted at the Heritage Museum. Linda Rupard Irvin was the lucky recipient of this cardinal art. COPYRIGHT Kay Smith 2025

Chilly Cardinal

3.5x2.5 watercolor on 140 lb cold press Kilimanjaro paper done today, another cardinal out in the chilly snowy landscape.  This fellow seems to be searching for some red berries to eat or for his mate.
