Keep Cows Weird
5.5x8.5 watercolor and ink (Pigma Micron 01 pen) on Masters Touch sketch book done last night, one of two painted while out of town for the weekend. Drawn from life, I used a small figurine cow then made up the flowers in this contemporary cow vignette art.

Contemporary Cow
20x22 watercolor and gouache on Lanaquarelle 140 lb hot press paper, a colorful contemporary version of a common cow patterned after one mass produced seen in a gift catalogue. I first drew in pencil on the hot press paper then painted the background with Periwinkle Blue (American Journey), ultramarine blue plus white gouache and small amounts of Blue Bice (AJ). Stamping done when dry using old strawberry plastic box as a stencil and Grumbacher true red paint.

Holy Cow!
22x30 acrylic over failed cherub painting, hence the title. This is a WetCanvas! challenge to paint in a style or colors you're not used to, so it was quite difficult with large flat shapes. A Netherlands cow of Connie van Winssen was the ref used and it was in the middle of a green field with a city skyline behind, so I enlarged it and took out all the rest.
