Contemporary Coneflower

8.5x5.5 watercolor and ink line on paper done last week from a photo I took of an off white coneflower in a greenhouse.  It was pretty but looked better with some colors added.

Pink Coneflower w/ Black & Red Butterfly

Coneflower Candy

12x9 watercolor on Fluid 140 lb cold press paper done today from one of my coneflower (echinacea) photos.  Painted wet into wet the candy colors of pinks, yellows, and pale greens are a delight to the gardener.
