Rolling in the Deep
5.5x8.5 watercolor done last week, a marine scape of deep dark blue waters with a distant storm threatening. One can imagine being in this spot, lost, just rolling in the deep.

4x5 watercolor on 140 lb cold press paper done last week, another imaginary marine scape featuring the endless ocean or sea. In this view, I've tried to show the pounding surf of the incoming waves cresting as they roll with the tide.

Beach Beverage
5x7.75 watercolor on Italia 140 lb cold press paper painted over this past weekend from an online miniature painting challenge. I love the shadow the drink cast upon the sunlit beach sand and the distant water.

Splashing Waves
11x14 poured acrylics on canvas done yesterday in a class on the subject, very messy but worth the effort for this abstract seascape. Silicone oil and Floetrol were mixed in the paint. No brushes or predrawing.
