Two Apples

12x9 watercolor with colored pencil color sanded into the wet washes, a simple still life of fruit I wanted to paint before they got too ripe.

Very nice color and texture... and I love the shadow!
Apples are, to me, the basic unit of still life ... but I always have problems with the indentations on the ends.
