5.5x8.5 watercolor and ink on Masters sketchbook paper done over the weekend. Our old cat Bootsie who had long thick hair loved to play with the soft spongy balls. Here I have used a four color combination to make a mixed black: First pairing was ultramarine blue + quinacridone burnt orange application, and second was alizarin crimson + thalo green. The ball is thalo yellow green and some of that opaque color is mixed in his tail.
