Texas Jack

John Wilson Vermillion, also known as " Jack" or later as "Shoot-Your-Eye-Out Vermillion," was a gunfighter of the Old West known for his participation in the Earp Vendetta Ride and his later association with Soapy Smith (Wikipedia). Mixed media in my junk journal using Micron 01 pen, charcoal, watercolor, colored pencils, oil pastels, acrylic markers, alphabet ink stamps, 8.25x5.25, done last days of September. When time allows I'm still exploring notorious outlaws of the wild west in my series on them.

Woven Flowers of Passion

15x22 work is actually two identically painted scenes of pink roses in front of a house. The original was ho-hum boring so a few years late...
