Blooming Garden Chair

8x6 watercolor on handmade rough 140 lb cold press paper done mid July, an imaginary rusty garden chair holding blooms in the sunshine. Garden scenes are such fun to paint. Keep your plants watered and healthy in this triple digit heat. COPYRIGHT Kay Smith 2026

Sudderth Drive Hollyhocks

18x9 watercolor on Canson 140 lb cold press paper begun last paint in day this week, using one of my old photos of hollyhocks growing along Sudderth Drive in Ruidoso, NM. The old store has since closed but the hollyhocks are blooming in summer along the iron fence. COPYRIGHT 2022 Kay Smith
