15x22 watercolor on Kilimanjaro 140 lb cold press paper painted from one of my redwinged blackbird photos shot in Ruidoso in the fall. Lots of these birds are seen around wet marshy areas where cattails grow. When in flight the reddish orange on their wings is a nice contrast against their black feathers. There is a large rocky formation behind him. I usually stop on Warrior Road and take photos of the wildlife in their habitat.
