An Aspen Alley
4.5x3.5 watercolor on 140 lb cold press paper done about a week and a half ago, an imaginary autumn aspen tree scene. I remember being too scared to paint trees so would avoid them but after studying their characteristics and sketching them in various stages of growth, they have become easier.

Aspen Forest
9.5x10 alcohol inks on paper done this afternoon using a chopstick to draw lines, make marks, and push the inks around. No reference used in this painting, just fun and creating an aspen grove in a forest.
