Mission Stormy Sky
7x5 watercolor on Fabriano 140 lb cold press paper done week before last, a miniature version of an imaginary mission, bell tower, and stormy sky. I've painted this scene two other times at half sheet size 22x15 and sold both of those. This one is a warm up to do it larger size.

Iglesia San Jose
11x15 watercolor on Canson 140 lb cold press paper painted today. I dressed it up the old church w/ Mexico's tradition of burning the bad. They make a list annually of the things they don't want in their lives anymore and on New Year's the list is burned so as to start fresh without anything in their way. What a good idea!

The Creek ACEO
3.5x2.5 watercolor, brush only, of an imaginary creek with a colorful sky done a few days ago. These miniature art card edition originals are fun, don't take up any space, and quickly completed. Looks like a rainy sky so maybe I was thinking of storms.
