White Cosmos Petals
8x6 watercolor and ink on handmade rough 140 lb cold press paper done week before last, another in my cosmos series using silk blooms. I've used Winsor Newton black 0.1 fine liner pen and White Nights paints in this loose rendition of a floral.

Bee on White Cosmos
11x14 watercolor on Kilimanjaro 140 lb cold press paper begun yesterday and finished today. The busy bee was hard to get its transparent wings to look paper thin so I did use a tiny amount of white gouache on the left wing tip. I put together a combo from my cosmos and insects refs for this garden and nature painting.
