At the Beach
6.75x9 watercolor and ink line using Winsor Newton sepia 0.3 fine liner pen and White Nights pigments on Canson 117 lb cold press paper done mid month. Using a women's wear catalog for inspiration of a woman dreaming by the beach this is what I came up with to start off the season.

Woman in Sunglasses
10.25x9 watercolor pencils by Staedtler in sketchbook for another Sketchbook Skool exercise using colored pencils. We were to use complementary colors in our work for the assignment and do it very quickly, so this was under 30 minutes from a model.

Sunshine Woman II on Floral Mix
10x10.25 mixed media on foamcore done today. Abstract background is actually an alcohol ink piece done previously titled Floral Mix and woman in sunglasses is a new India ink face done yesterday on dictionary paper then collaged onto larger support. I like the new black and white graphics against the colorful floral design for a new look.
